I haven't had mine long enough to change the filter, but have much enjoyed the better water quality and taste. It is rather noisy, per the reviews I read before I bought it, but not long or loud enough to be a deal-breaker. I bought it to replace the PUR pitcher I'd had for years when I noticed the water residue from it on one or two items. I'm pleased with it, but if I were to buy it again, I'd get the dispenser.

The most important feature about this item for me is eliminating buying bottled water, and then the garbage that the water bottles cause. Also, I am amazed at my cats reaction to this filtered water. They came running when I turn on the filter, and wait for me to put the water in their dish, and they drink the water immediatly after I put it in their dish. They never did this with the bottled water. In fact they always let it sit for a few hours before they would drink it. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who is concerned about the quality of their tap water.

I love everything about this product. Just wish you would put a on and off switch on system. Sometimes when plugged in, with water already filtered and shuts off, it sometimes starts up again with any strong vibration, like walking on floor, or when the refrigerator door is opened. I always unpug it when not in use. A switch would stop this.

I've never used a water filter before. At first I didn't think I could tell a difference but after a few days I realized it was like drinking air. It is so light and I can drink so much more water without feeling bloated. Excellent filter system.

I bought this after moving because my counter top version wouldn't work with my faucet. I'm very happy with it. It is noisy but works so quickly that it isn't a problem. The only thing I don't like is that the cover doesn't cover the spout which makes me worry about contamination. It's so nice not having to transport water!
