We have well water and this water filter system works great but I just wish it wasn't so loud when dispensing. If we had city water, we would have gone with a different system because there is not filtering of fluoride for any of the Aquaasana filtration systems.

I bought three of these units and they are very convenient to use and keep clean. The only thing I would like to see improved, if possible, is to make them operate a little more quietly. The powered pump is noticeably audible but not so much so as to be really annoying. These units are warranteed for one year and I've only had them for a month or so, but no problems so far. I use this product for all my drinking water and cooking water.

Our new sink/faucet design is not compatible with either the over and under counter models. So we needed a pitcher system and this product fit the bill. What's best us the powered filtration since we don't have to wait for it to filter. It acts as a dispenser as well. The only major downside is the noise it makes when filtering/dispensing.

My household has used several different filter products. We are renting our home and were unable to install our filter by the sink because of the granite countertops & no spot for spray hose... this was a great solution! The flow is faster than the countertop filter, but you do have to refill the reservoir often in a house like ours filling baby bottles, water bottles, cooking, etc. Very easy to install and use, just noisy when in use.

I have used the Lotus Water Filtration System by Tersano for a few years, but it's getting old and I thought I'd replace it with a new one (I don't know why--it works fine). I have used Aquasana's shower filter for years and am very happy with it, so I assumed I'd be happy with this countertop system. Wrong. I am very disappointed and am in the process of shipping it back for a refund. I would spend more for a better quality system.
