The product is good and produces excellent water quality. However, if I leave the pitcher on, it filters intermittently without warning. It takes up a lot of space because I have to leave the pitcher off.

The Water Filter System permanent leaks. I already have an exchange (which was very easy) but the same problem. It leaks underneath the system. So even if you do not let water out of the system your countertop will be permanent wet! If you do not want to have a mess in your kitchen stay away from it.

The unit is very noisy when it filters water. I was expecting it to filter the water immediately - but since we got the drink dispenser version it filters only when you initiate the button.

I guess I shouldn't expect it to last a life time but it died after 2 years. So I guess the life expectancy is 2 years. If so it is a great machine for the price.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to install
Cons: Not durable
