Annoying button delay and spillage - yum water

I have had this for a week now and like the better tasting water as well as that it sits on the counter, not messing with my faucet or having to drill a hole through the countertop.
But it is annoying to use it and my husband refuses to: sometimes the button reacts, sometimes not, if you let go of the button while filling a large container, then you may need to wait 15 seconds (count to 15 slowly when you are in a hurry), and press the button several times, before it turns on again. So you need patience. Also, as you insert or remove the large container for refilling, some water will always spill at the bottom where the water is extacted to be sucked into the filter mechanism.
I also had to have the water canister re-sent twice because it was cracked. The plastic quality of the clear part seems inferiror.
If I had a different, reliable way to get a quality filter for the kitchen that does not require me to attach anything to my faucet or drill a hole in my countertop, I would return or replace this immediately.
Alas, I feel stuck because I do like Aquasana as a brand and trust that their filtration is better than most.

I bought this in January, love the water, tastes great. But when filtering the water, it’s makes a very loud noise. I expect some noise since water’s forced through the filter electronically but never expected this much noise.

arm dispensing water should be slightly longer to allow, as example, to fill kettle without holding it up. also there should be an option for dispenser button not to require it being pressed down entire time. An on/off option so one does not have to stand and press the mechanism for full time when filling large vessels. some improvement on container so as not to leak onto base. I would recommend only because of the medicinal filter. so yes/no option below does not correspond to my position. you should also be selling the pitcher from the other option which can be put in refrigerator as an accessory. need to tighten this one up folks.

A Must Have Device..Love it!

Well worth the money. Very simple design. Small footprint. I have lowerd the cost tremendously since purchase of buying bottled water. Still purchase it to grab a bottle on way to gym. Have not joined the filter program yet because wanting to see just how long they (filters) will last me first. I'm only person in household. Water out of faucet smells like a bottle of bleach. This device takes care of that, no problem and what ever else leaks into city water system before reaching my apartment. Highly recommend. Tried other similar filtration products. To costly to maintain. Love it!
