Stopped working and leaks water after 2 months

After using for two months the machine started leaking water all over the counter. The water comes from the underside of the base which indicates the leak is somewhere inside the machine.
After this happened when I plug the system in the light turns purple and the machine will not run.
Pros: Clean taste, Easy to install
Cons: Not durable

the filter system itself seems to be good (the water tastes clean). however, the dispenser we received leaked out of the bottom. we ordered it brand new, so it should not have had this problem. we were expecting high quality given the price point. we did reach out to customer service and they sent us a replacement. haven't had a chance to see if that has the same issue or not. (we've read reviews that this is a common problem). it's too bad because the water quality and machine design is great. it just gets overridden by the fact that it leaks

This is the second countertop Aquasana filter I’ve had and I wouldn’t be without one. I first became acquainted with aqua sauna because we had a big unit in my office and so when I found they had a home one I bought one immediately. Although our city water is pretty good once you start drinking the Aquasanta you don’t ever want to drink the city water again and I don’t buy bottles of water anymore so hopefully that saves the environment as well! The unit is well worth the investment!
Pros: Easy to clean, No odor, Clean taste, Long lasting filter, Good Water Flow, Durable, Easy to install

Filters don't last long

My unit came with 2 filters. I use about 1/2 a container per day. The water tastes great; however, both filters last about 2 months. The filters were supposed to last 6 months. Tgey are expensive and not happy about the short life of the batteries. I would recommend this product if it weren't for the shirt life of the filters.

Not at all what I was expecting. It was as loud as a leer jet. And a very odd taste, which may or may not dissipate. I don't really know. It wasn't worth keeping as it was so loud the entire house could hear it in all directions.

Leaks like a sieve

These counter top machines tend to leak like a sieve within a few months..if your lucky. I’ve had several of these machine and all had the same issue. Not one lasted for a year

Water tastes great... The filter will break

I have used this filter for many years. To be exact, I went through my filter, my mom's filter, my sister's and my in-laws (I encouraged all of them to buy one of the same model). All of them have had major issues in a short time. Major water leak issues will happen within 1 year or so of daily use. The last one, the top where it holds the filter broke under the pressure of the filtering. Which means that it started to pop like a pressure cooker.
Pros: No odor, Clean taste, Good Water Flow
Cons: Not durable
