As far as I can tell the only thing the single slice button does is light a blue light. T thought that it would turn off the other slot but all it does is turn on the little blue light

Since day one, this toaster has simply not lived up to its alleged reputation. We enjoy a toasted bagel in the morning, and the only way we can get a properly toasted bagel is by reinserting it two to three times to cook!

So much more expensive than the others on the shelves. And the levers that you press down to toast your bread are so cheaply put together and flimsy. That is what broke our last Cuisinart toaster. Sad.

My toaster lasted 3 months. I am a senior citizen. I cut the cord of my toaster and took a picture to prove the toaster was defective. Had trouble sending the picture. Company would not replace the toaster. Had to buy another toaster.
