This toaster was a replacement for a 45 year old 2 slice toaster. The Cusinart 4 slice toaster was quiet when the toast “pops” up and the toast is accurately and consistently toasted to the degree you desire. It does exactly was a toaster is supposed to do.

A good toaster - the slots are wide enough, it toasts well. No toaster is perfect - but my first one of these lasted about five years, until I shook it upside down to get the crumbs out - bad idea -so I decided to get the same one again.
