Higher wattage toaster = fast toast. Also, I have used the pastry setting for Toaster Strudel and it worked great! With 2 independent sides, each holding 2 items, you can set up one side for toast and the other side for non-toast items.

Love the brand and had the previous version for a few years. I like the options located on the knob about toasting different bread types. My only concern is when pressing down on cooking knob I don’t get the feeling of quality doesn’t feel like this toaster will last as long as my last one. Time will tell so I saved my receipt.

The cord is a very good length- not like many of today’s appliances that are extremely short but their “Wrapping technique” under the toaster is very difficult to use..needs a better solution.

I really wanted to like this toaster. The design is beautiful and the multiple settings sounded great. But performance wasn't consistent. I also had to return the first one because the lever would not stay down. My second one now has the same problem, right side lever does not stay down.

My Cuisinart 4-slice toaster either burns the toast or doesn’t toast completely. There is no adjustment or setting for nicely browned toast. I have considered returning it many times.

Did numerous comparisons for quality and pricing over several weeks before committing to this purchase. We use this toaster daily and have used it for over 2 months with perfect toast every time. I have used 4 of the different settings and each works as expected. Hope it holds up for the next few years!
