We love our new Cuisinart toaster, it actually does what it says + if the toast doesn’t pop up high enough you just lift the lever!

I am very happy with the new toaster. It has all the options for special toasting (I mainly use toast, bagels and English Muffins). It replaces a Krups which lasted us for over 10 years. If I were to change anything, I would like the ability to raise the finished item a little higher above the top of the slot. It has the feature but it is just short a little on English muffins in particular. The only other comment is an engineering design issue. It seems strange that the power cord exits the toaster on the bottom RIGHT FRONT CORNER making the power cable pass under the toaster to get to an outlet on the back left side. Oddly enough, all of our outlets in our kitchen are just in the wrong place for a right hand exit and even if that was not an issue, a front exiting power cord just seems strange in itself. I hope the cord laying under the toaster will not deteriorate in time! Unfortunately both of these issues were not discoverable by doing an Internet purchase.

This was a replacement toaster for an older Cuisinart toaster that gave up the ghost. The new version produces much more evenly toasted items and has many settings for a wide variety of items that can be toasted. It is more compact and looks nice on the countertop. No complaints.

At first, I was pleased with this toaster. Now, however, it is starting to have a problem. I have to move the toasting lever almost to the end to get it to toast the bread. I’m hoping Cuisinart will send me another one since this one didn’t last very long.

I love this 4 Slice Custom Select Toaster !, "Read the manual first", "so important" so you toast all the different types of breads correctly. Glad i did that, because English muffins and Toast come out perfect . I love the 1 Slice option too, perfect when that's all i want. Pull out trays at the back are easy to clean and pop right back in. Love the Stainless look too. So easy to use, easy lift when your toast is done which is nice also.it does have a defrost selection.
