I bought this pan a few years ago after doing extensive research. I absolutely loved everything about the pan and used it frequently. I take excellent care of all my cookware, but suddenly it became brown on the bottom, and I couldn't get it clean. I worried that the nonstick surface had been compromised, so I quit using it and purchased a different Calphalon pan. In the purchase of researching that pan, I was reminded of the Calphalon warranty. I wasn't sure if my first pan would be covered, but I figured there was no harm in giving it a try. It took me awhile to locate a box large enough to ship it back, but other than that, the warranty claim process was easy to complete. The next thing I knew, I had an email stating a new pan was on the way to my house. A brand new pan arrived at my front door today, and I couldn't be happier. I will continue to be a loyal Calphalon customer!

The lid has no protection on the handle it dan get very hot and can cause burns. Pan itself is excellent.
