I enjoy cooking in this jumbo fryer pan with high sides. I can cook an entire meal using a single large pan, which saves time when it comes to cleanup. The long stainless steel handle stays cool to the touch during the cooking process, as does the helper handle. Other non-Calphalon pans I have in my collection at home do not have a glass lid, so this was a new experience for me. I like the glass lid because I can easily watch my meal while it is on the stovetop. All of the meals I have prepared after using this pan for a few weeks have cooked evenly. I recommend using plastic or wooden cooking utensils to keep the pan's non-stick coating from getting scratched.
When it comes to cleanup, the non-stick coating is a big time-saver. The food doesn't stick to the pan, so cleanup is a breeze. A quick dip in some hot soapy water is all it takes for this jumbo fryer pan to come clean, no soaking needed.

Fantastic Pan!

I'm in love with this pan! I love hard anodized aluminum pans. They are so easy to clean after cooking. The longer stainless steel handle stays cool and the small handle on the opposite side of the pan is convenient for transferring from the stove after searing meat to the oven. I've never had a pan that I can use in the oven all the way up to 450 degrees. This is a great feature of the pan and probably my favorite way to use it. At 12 inches you would think it would be very heavy but it's not. It feels sturdy and is quickly becoming my go to pan. I highly recommend this pan to everyone.

Deep pan bowl!

I love this pan! The bowl is really deep so I can load lots of meat into it to cook at one time! I've used this a dozen or so times to make taco meat, pancakes, casseroles, chicken and rice, etc. and it's worked beautifully! I love how deep the pan is! That's my favorite feature! And the lid is a tight fit so no moisture, heat escapes!

My Cooking Life Has Changed!

I absolutely LOVE my jumbo fry pan! During winter, I like to make chicken & dumplings in one pan but usually everything spills over. Not anymore though with this nonstick jumbo fry pan. It's life changing and I can't stop using. In addition to the size, the nonstick feature is amazing. Clean up doesn't take long and is a breeze. If you're worried about the weight, it's a little heavy but nothing that you can't handle. I love this fry pan and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Best Pan I've Ever Used

I've been using this pan for a couple weeks now, and I'm IN LOVE! I've been really impressed by the ease of cleaning it because NOTHING (ahem, eggs!) sticks to this pan. It cooks evenly, is super heavy-duty, and the sides are nice and high! I also was able to pop this pan in the oven and just baked a casserole right inside-- it came out great. If staining bothers you do not buy this. The very first time I used this I poured out some oil and it permanently stained the pot. Specifically the outside. I tried everything to remove. Very disappointing.
