This is my go-to, heavy deep, large, capacity skillet for fried chicken, pasta, also is used as a Dutch oven. Oven safe, excellent! I am on my second one.

I like this pan so much that I purchased a new one to replace my old one. I only wish the new one had a rubberized handle on the small handle, opposite the main handle, like the old one. But it's still a great pan that i use for many meals.

Only thing is skillet not as heavy a metal as other Calphalon skillets that
we have. I was surprised lid is heavier than the skillet.
