Best Cookware

My husband and I researched several stainless steel cookware and decided to purchase Calphalon. I'm so glad we did! LOVE IT. It cooks great, cleans up great and looks beautiful. Even when food sticks; the clean up is very easy - let soak a few minutes and use a stainless steel scrubber and it comes right off. It is so nice to have nice cookware! Makes me want to cook more!

Best Calphalon I have used

I love the tri-ply cookware, cooks with lower heat and has evenly distributed heat throughout the pot and pans. We used to have the non-stick, however after using them for years and returning them twice because the non-stick came off and we used wooden and plastic spatulas. this tri ply is the way to go. Best cookware I have used to date and I am 57 years old and love to cook.

I was a little leery about this set from other reviews that said everything sticks. Gladly I have not had this problem at all. I like that I can use Barkeepers Friend to bring the finish right back to new looking. We also bought the pasta/steaming pot and love it as well. The only thing I don't care for is the riveted handles, it can be a pain to clean around the rivets. Being that is the worst thing about the set I really can complain at all.

Love them, but some sticking

Many people say they fry eggs without having them stick on the Tri-Ply pans like I bought. I am not getting that result. I usually preheat the pan and then use a thin coat of canola oil in the pan. but eggs usually stick-- I end up breaking the yolk on fried eggs or being unable to cleanly flip an omelet in one piece.
What's recommended-- am I using to hot of a flame?

I Finally Met the "Pan" of My Dreams

You know how as a little girl you always dream that someday you will meet that one special love who you will spend the rest of your life with... the one who will be with you daily , from morning to night, who will never let you down and always be trustworthy, strong and look as good as they did the day you met them years later. Well I found my knight in shining armor in my Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Set. I was tired of all those other pans who kept coming in out of my life with their warped personas, quickly scratched exteriors and promises they never kept. I wanted something that would last until I fry my last egg, something that each time we met, would leave me feeling as good as the first time! Alas, my Tri-Ply Stainless Steel is the "Pan" of My Dreams! Built to last, we will be hand and handle forever!

These are great!

After using a set of Wearever aluminum pans for 40 years, I purchased these. They are wonderful. Follow the instructions to use a little oil, meat at room temp, soak stuck food in water, use a Dobie pad and Bar Keepers Friend and the result is "perfection". I hate Teflon/non stick surfaces so these were perfect for me. The glass lids, the design of the pans and the handles are great. They heat evenly. I have nothing bad to say about them. If you have not made up your mind, I hope this review helps you!!!!

Highly disappointed

I am super disappointed in these pans! I have used calphalon brand pans for years. My last set lasted me ten years before I decided to purchase a new set. I was so excited when I found this set. I was in love with the stainless steal! Big mistake. Big. Everything I cook in these pans burns and sticks. Veggies, meat, potatoes- literally everything. I've tried prepping the pans, using more butter, a cooking spray, nothing works. Then after my entire meal is burnt to the pan it is the biggest pain trying to get it off with washing!! The pan has to soak in hot water for hours to remove it!! Unfortunately I would never recommend these pans to anyone. It's a shame because I was always a huge Calphalon supporter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Bling and Zing without the $$$Ding

Everyone I know talks about the "other" Tri-Ply stainless steel cookware....and for good reason. It has a LOT of BLING and it cooks wonderfully.
Well, I discovered the secret to getting both the beauty-BLING and cooking-ZING without the high cost (money-Ding).
This stuff is just as SEXY as the All expensive brand, cooks just as evenly, and costs a great deal less!!!
