My husband bought this set for me for Christmas last year. It's a beautiful set and I love it but I didn't realize that I must not only pick the handle up with my right hand but also use the left hand to pick it up simultaneously using potholders of course. It takes two hands on a large skillet. I still love the set tho. It's worth it.

I got this set about a month ago for Christmas (couldn't wait that long to use it.) I absolutely love it. Not only does it look great, it cooks food so easily and clean up is a breeze. I always thought I wanted stainless steel cookware, and I was right! I'm planning to add some more pieces to go with my set! I would highly recommend this set. Great set for a great price!

I have been the proud owner of the 13 piece Tri-Ply Stainless Steel set since 2011. With daily use and abuse, it has held up and still looks new. I use Bar-Keeper's Friend religiously to clean my pots and pans. This set is truly a quality made product. It heats evenly and allows me to properly prepare my meals without worry of burning my food. You do need to learn to cook all over again if you are switching from a non-stick surface to a stainless surface. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

Skillets warp

I bought a 13 piece set for Christmas 2015. The first time my wife used the skillet is warped and no longer sits level on the electric stove top. We are sending it back under the warranty. going in the mail today. however my wife used the largest skillet last night and it too warped and will not sit level on the cook top. What's the deal?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect right out of the box

The 13 pc. Tri-ply Stainless set replaced two 10 year old sets: one non-stick, one stainless. It is exactly as described by Calphalon. What they did not say was how well balanced it is. The tri-ply layer construction goes all the way up the sides which makes them heat and cook food evenly. When pouring or tilting, the saucepans don't try to "right" themselves like those made with the layers all on the bottom. Even the first fried egg didn't stick! Unbelievable in a pan without a non-stick surface!

many years ago i decided to buy myself a "good" set of pots. so glad i chose my tri-ply set. it took some getting used to but i am so happy i gave it a shot. they cook even and are consistent. 10 years later i am still happy with the way the cook and their appearance.

Really great (and healthy) cookware set

I was a little timid to get a stainless steel cookware set, because food had a tendency to stick when I used them in the past. I'm really glad I made the leap of faith and got this set. Very versatile with all the pan and skillet options. Still having a little trouble with eggs sticking, but otherwise I really like it.
