Everything I Need

I've had this set for several years - my favorite piece is the 2" Omelette Pan. It's not just for Omelettes. I use this set for all my cooking needs. I also have the baking set, which my daughter got me as a gift - so I'm very happy with my Calphaln,espcially since I can put it in the dishwasher! I have already recommended Calphalon often - especially as a wedding gift.

We got this set for Christmas and absolutely love it! Cooks evenly, cleans great. And you can put in the dishwasher if you need to! Best cookware we have ever had in 30 yrs of cooking!

Caphalon's Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware - User Tip

We have used stainless steel cookware for years and the Caphalon products are a great value. Quality constructed stainless steel cookware will cook hotter, quicker and cleaner then any non-stick cookware.
Life becomes easier when stainless cookware is slightly preheated, then add (temperature dependent) EVOO, butter, vegetable oil...
Most dishes will cook perfectly with a stovetop temperature setting of medium or less. Enjoy the meal, let the pan cool down and use a paper towel to wipe the pan clean.
You may wish to "season" the cookware prior to use or research cooking methods using quality stainless steel cookware - Google It.
We started with the Caphalon's Tri-Ply Stainless Steel cookware set and added several cookware pieces since.
Don't burn your food or your cookware, TURN DOWN THE HEAT, enjoy the cooking experience and your life.

Great set

I purchased this set a few months ago and have been using it regularly. I am impressed , this is my first stainless steel set. In the past I only used non stick. This product is just as easy to use and clean. My only issue was that I purchased it under the impression it was "made in the USA" only to find out it was imported from China.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this set in 2007. It has held up amazingly well. Heavy pots, pans & lids. Even heating. Easy to clean for stainless steel! I never run them through the dishwasher...but it says you can. I expect these will last for years to come!

Top quality

I have been using this set of pans for 4 years. I love everything about them: they sit level on glass top range, heat evenly allowing me to cook on low to medium temperature settings, go from stove top to oven, and clean up is easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Warped after first use

I always thought that Calphalon would be the pans I would use for years. Well I dont think that is going to happen. We just received these pans as a wedding gift and after the first time use became warped.
It is not as if we cranked the burners on High, tossed ice water in, or submerged the pan after use.
Now, when I place the Saute pan or the 10 inch skillet on the counter, they will wobble. Now we are waiting to see if the others will follow this trend.

I like the pots and pans I have used. Kind of discouraged the way some things stick in them--hashbrowns and eggs so far.
