A waste of money - rusted on both sides

I purchased this cast iron grill about 2 months ago and after just 2 washes it became rusty on both sides and it is difficult to clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I dont it can be used on an induction stove top

Not worth it

Received as a gift about a month ago and it rusted after 2 uses. Still trying to pick pieces of burger off the grill that got stuck. This pan is really not worth the time or the trouble.

Very Disappointed

Received as a gift, but cannot be cleaned, does rust and now I have a gift that is useless. Tried using paper towel to wipe any food remnants off but everything seems to be stuck on grill. Doesn't hold up to Calphalon name.

Seasoned the grill and it still rusts. Food sticks to it and is not easily removed.

I should have read the reviews before buying! I purchased this last month and was excited to use it for the first time yesterday. Food stuck and was impossible to clean off! Rinsed and dried but still shows signs of rust, already after one use and wash! I have never had such an issue with Calphalon cookware...total disappointment.

Buyer beware

My wife and I received this griddle / grill for our wedding last year, it lasted 2 months before the coating wore off and it started rusting. Disappointing coming from Calphalon.

There are several reasons why your cast iron could be rusting. Soaking cast iron cookware in water and storing it before it is thoroughly dry can cause rusting. Storing foods in cast iron may also do so. Our Consumer Care team will be reaching out to you by email to provide assistance.
