I used this roaster and rack to roast two chickens (cross ways side by side). I like several things about the design. It cleans up with minimal effort. The design of the handles offers minimal protrusion beyond the pan itself. Handles are broad and comfortable. The rack is made from smaller wire than my other Calphalon rack making it lighter. The rack spacing is appropriate for a chicken or even a smaller bird. I did not use the baster or the forks. It's expensive but a good value.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beware of Rack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pan is great, as are accessories, but rack is PAINTED. I used this once, and the paint on the rack stuck to my turkey, and ended up in the drippings that I made gravy from. Unfortunately, we didn't realize this until after dinner. Very disappointing for Calphalon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
