Everything you Need for Cookware and more!

So I had the same cooking set for the last 8 years, when my husband and I moved in together we got a set for Christmas that year and have had it ever since. It wasn't anything fantastic and it was definitely time to replace it.
I had heard great things about Calphalon and was thrilled to have the opportunity to review this set (set was provided for free for review, however my opinions are 100% my own).
Everything about this set was perfect for me. Two sizes for frying, a great pan for saute'ing, two sauce pans and a fantastic stock pot. They are all very sturdy, have a great dual layer non-stick coating and my absolute FAVORITE feature, the pans have a spout and sieve to drain. LOVE that.
The other great thing that I noticed while using these is how evenly I can cook with them. It seemed that after a while with my other frying pans certain spots would cook faster that others, with the Calphalon, the entire pan heats up evenly... which is great for things like bacon!
I definitely recommend this one. Five stars.

Exceeds my expectations!

I have been overdue in updating and replacing my current cookware set. When, I was given the opportunity to receive this set of Calphalon Classic Nonstick cookware at no charge for my honest opinion, I jumped at the chance.
I have been slowly building my cupboards with better quality pans- and Calphalon is GREAT quality. I have two other Calphalon pans and I LOVE them. They are THE best. Now that I have this 10 pc set, my kitchen is complete.
I love the dual layer nonstick feature. Easy clean up and food just slides out!
The pots have measuring lines inside them and spouts that allow draining of water from pasta a breeze.

I am also a huge fan of the fact that I can put my pans into the oven (up to 450F).
I am not exaggerating when I say that I LOVE these pans! Definitely perfect for new homeowners, newlyweds, and those just getting started on their own.

My wife and I got a simular set of these pots and pans for our wedding shower after a few months all of the finish came off the outside ..if you buy this set you are making a mistake..they charge a fotune and it's terrible quality..yes it's warranties if you want to spend a fortune to send it back and live w/no cookware for a month or so..they can keep this garbage

Lots of great built in features

What a great set of pots and pans. Prior to this set I have only owned mismatched pots and pans from my college years, and the odd pan I picked up as needed. This entire set feels really solid and well constructed. My favorite features are the little things that make my meal preparation a little bit easier. The pots have measurement marks on the inside edge, saving me from dirtying a measuring cup. The larger pasta pots have pour spouts on the sides, making it easy to drain the water from pasta. Some lids have straining holes, which again saves me on dish cleaning time.
Compared to my other pans, I love these extra features that make my life easier. The set is oven safe up to 450 degrees, so we can make our family favorite German pancakes without having to remove the handle like we do with our old pan. It’s the little things! While I got this product for free I assure you all opinions are mine and I would gladly buy it for friends and family.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really love this cookware set!

Calphalon is a brand name that's known for quality products and this cookware set does not disappoint. I love that this nonstick cookware set is indeed nonstick -- probably because of it has a dual-layer nonstick for easy food release and quick cleanup. I've been using this cookware set for weeks now and it seems durable. Unlike other pans that seem to lose their "nonstickability" in a matter of days, my weeks-old set still seems like it's new out of the box! I also love that the lid has a strainer so I don't have to take the pasta out just to drain the water, I love that the pots have marks so I won't have to measure. I've tried a lot of other cookware sets before and this Calphalon set has surpassed all of those in terms of durability, quality, construction and features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

All the pots and pans you'll ever need to own

Once I received this 10-pc nonstick set and tried it out, I knew I could give away most of my old pots and pans. The 10-pc set has all the cookware any nonprofessional cook needs!
Pros: These are lighter than my old pots & pans, yet sturdier. I love the measuring markers on the sauce pans & pots -- no need to wash a separate liquid measuring cup! I love that every piece is oven safe, so I can start a dish on the stove and finish it off in the oven, or keep a dish warming in the oven until we're ready to eat. I also love the built-in pour spouts and the covers with strain holes. At first I was worried that the covers would slide off the pots when I drained the liquid (my old big pot has a locking lid) but that hasn't happened at all -- the lid is heavy enough to stay in place even when I tilt the pot to drain liquid.
Cons: I wish the handles were coated in oven-safe silicone so they wouldn't get so hot, but I'm not sure that's possible given the price of this set! I'd rather keep the price as is and use a potholder :)
Now that I have this 10-pc set I really don't need any of my old pots & pans anymore, so I 'm totally read to get rid of them -- except I already own 2 Calphalon frying pans and 1 Calphalon saucepan! I've had them for about 10 years and there is absolutely nothing wrong with them and I still love using them. I fully expect this new set to last as long as my old Calphalon ones. I guess I'm just going to keep my old Calphalon cookware and throw away my old non-Calphalon cookware to make room for this new set!

Sturdy, Super Nonstick, and Elegant

The first thing I noticed when taking these pots and pans out of the box was their sleek and elegant design. Their shape and color makes you feel a bit fancier as you’re cooking and gets you excited to bring them to the table for serving. The pots have incredibly convenient measuring marks, pour spouts, and straining lids, which are such a nice touch to make cooking even easier.
The first thing my husband noticed about the pots was the construction. Their hard-anodized aluminum construction makes them incredibly sturdy and they feel very well put together.
So, they felt good and looked pretty, but would the pretty pots hold up when put to the test? (That’s always the question, isn’t it?) Wow. These pots do not disappoint. They heat up very quickly and evenly. We have used them a lot for breakfast dishes like omelettes and pancakes, and everything turns out evenly cooked every time.
And that nonstick! The dual-layer nonstick has blown us away. We forgot a pot of rice on the stove and, when we remembered it, we were sure we would have a stuck/burnt mess to clean up. But, one stir around the pot with our wooden spoon and everything was loose and clear. For dinner another night, we simmered chicken in a thick sauce in the Covered Saute Pan and, instead of having dry stuck bits around the edges after a long period of simmering, the pan practically wiped clean.
While I did receive this product for free, all opinions and thoughts are honest and my own. This is a set that we will be using for a long time to come.

A Must-Have Staple in Every Family Kitchen

I have a big family including four growing boys that I have to cook for every single day. I don't love cooking by any means. But, I do love feeding my boys good home cooked meals to help them grow. Nothing in the world is more frustrating to me than to be cooking on the stove and having the cookware I am using to be of bad quality. The pans I had before this Calpahlon classic nonstick set were definitely subpar compared to this set. Food would stick, burn, you name it, and food would end up scorched on the bottom and I would have to take out another pan, making my work load even more, which isn't ok with me at all! Now that I have switched over to this set, cooking really is so easy and the results are really fantastic.
I love how these pans were designed with the user in mind. The lids are nice and sturdy, but my favorite thing about the lids to the pots are the slots on the side, which allow you to easily drain liquid from the pot--it is absolutely brilliant! These pots and pans are sleek and the nonstick coating works incredibly well, which helps with both cooking and an easy clean up. I am very happy with this product and wish I had this set from the beginning of my marriage, as it would have saved me a lot of time and made cooking a much more positive experience for me from the get-go.
I like these pots and pans so much, in fact, that I will be picking up a set for my niece for her wedding shower so that she, too, can start off on the right foot and not experience all the frustration I have gone through to this point. The ten piece Classic set is the perfect size for every day cooking needs and you will love it!
