A good non-stick cookware

I received this 10-piece set of the Calphalon Signature non-stick cookware for free to try out, the opinions and thoughts included in this review are my own.
Let's start from the un-boxing, the pans come carefully and neatly packaged in the box, each lid and pan are separated so it ships well without touching. As I was taking the pieces the first thing I noticed is the great quality that the lids have, they are tempered glass with aluminum handles they look and feel sturdy. The design has an utilitarian style and in my mind something you would find on a chef's arsenal. The pots and pans itself are made of a heavy gauge hard-anodized aluminum, and they are hefty so they look and seem durable. I typically cook almost all my meals at home, so I love having a good cookware set and this one gives you a good array of sizes and selection to own.
Now to cooking, I use a glass cook-top and with most cook-tops finding a pan that distributes even heating is a must, and this Calphalon Signature delivers that. I cooked some fish fillets, with a little oil spray and they didn't stick and browned well and uniform.
Another feature that this set has is that they do not scratch (unlike other non-sticks) you can use any type of utensil, so no need to be afraid of using a sauce pan and a metal whisker, as it is ok they don't scratch.

By being non-stick they are very easy to clean, I just ran some water on the tap and had them wash in the dishwasher safely, and they came out squeaky clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Home Cook's Dream!

Over the years, we have collected a random assortment of pots and pans in our kitchen. Rarely did they have lids that fit well, we could not use metal utensils and several hand to be hand washed. Needless to say, I was more than happy to donate them to make room for this gorgeous set of cookware!
What I first noticed when I was unpacking the cookware and lids was the quality. The pans and lids are solid, hefty and made well.
Seeing that they are oven safe, dishwasher safe for easy clean up and tough enough for metal utensils, I knew they would hold up in our kitchen.
I love the variety of cookware in this set. I was able to boil an entire dozen eggs in the 3 qt. saucepan. For an easy dinner, I browned chicken in the saute pan and added 2 jars of Alfredo sauce right in the pan. Boiling an entire box of pasta was a breeze in the deep, 8 qt Stock Pot. For another quick meal, we made grilled cheese sandwiches in the 12 inch Omelet Pan (3 at a time!) and they browned up evenly and slid right onto our plates.
Being able to run this set through the dishwasher means clean up is easy and I'm not stuck in the kitchen hand washing dishes all night long.
Overall, I was really impressed with the quality, versatility and durability of this set!
As an avid home cook, busy working mom and wife, I was thrilled to receive this cookware set at no cost to review in our home. All opinions and experiences are 100% my own.

Incredible Quality Exceeded my High Expectations!

When it comes to cookware, I know Calphalon is the name to trust! We purchased our last set five years ago and I made the mistake of getting the cheapest set to save money and sadly it has started to chip from our utensils. I knew our next set had to be the surface you couldn't scratch, even with metal utensils. That has to be my favorite feature of this set but there are many more to love!
It really is an attractive set with a little style to it. The stainless steel handles are beautiful and they stay cool when cooking which is a great safety feature to have. I like how nicely they match the handles on the lids which are really nice tempered glass.
The pots and pans themselves are super heavy. I wish they were a little lighter but it just speaks to their quality and I'm sure has a lot to do with the scratch free surfaces!
When using them to cook, my food was even better! I don't mean it tasted better but just as an example, my scrambled eggs are suddenly much fluffier! I feel like food takes a little longer to cook because they take longer to heat up than my old set but it's definitely worth the wait!
These are super easy to clean and I was actually shocked at how quickly and easily the food rinsed off. Certain foods normally stick to pans but not to these and I am done washing them in no time at all!
The pots are much deeper than my old set which makes even the smallest pot useful!
This is just a top notch, high quality set that will probably last me a lifetime!

Terrible quality

We received this set for our wedding and I have been nothing but disappointed in the set. 2 of the kids hardly sit in the pans so they do not get any type of seal on them. The frying pans have had a sticky residue on them that no matter how I have washed them it will not go away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cleaning

I hate these pans. They have stains on the outside of the two I use for frying and I cannot get them clean. Have tried everything.

Bought the 10 pcs / Signature series two months ago. AND, they are already scratching from light to normal kitchen use. Very dissapointed

Bought about 4 months ago and they was great buy the skillets have started sticking all about the same time now. Can't cook anything without it stick to them. I forgot to register my cookware as well so that didn't help me any.

Poor quality

Purchased as a Christmas gift for myself, major disappointment. Followed instructions on care and use. Used small sauce pan and then HAND washed. The lid filled with water, I can hear it every time I lift the lid. Poor seal! Pans look good, that's the easy part. Quality and longevity are the hard part, this set failed after 2 days! Allegedly this set can go in the dishwasher without issue. If hand washing does this I can only imagine the amount of water a dishwasher will force into the lid. Now we must go thru the return hassle.
