Love these skillets!

I have used these for several months now, and they cook and clean up beautifully. I have been successful with browning foods that were difficult before these pans. I use one of them almost every day. Decided to hand wash just
because I would rather. Also purchased the lids.

best pans ever

I always bought cheap teflon fry pans, but I love to cook and thought I would give a better frying pan a try. I DIDNT KNOW WHAT I WAS MISSING! I LOVE these pans. I use them everyday, much more than any other pot/pan. You use very little oil because of the supreme heat retention and even heating. Now I know at least one of the secrets to the great cooks on the cooking channel...

Great value... bad packaging

I just received my set today and really like the performance even though the pans looked lighter than other Calphalon pans I own. However, I was disappointed to see a scratch on the large pan due to he fact that the smaller pan is packed inside of it with absolutely no protection in between. I hope these pans don't scratch easily! I only use wood and silicon cooking utensils, so that might help avoid more scratches.
I would return immediately but I live in the mountains away from a Williams Sonoma store! So I am keeping until I go into a big city...

poor quality

Received these pans as a gift and within 6 months the coating is peeling and falling off all the pots and pans despite hand washing and using plastic utensils.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loved it, but surface starting to come off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received these as a wedding gift about four years ago and loved them! We use them all the time, hand wash and only use plastic or silicone spatulas. The 12 inch still looks like new, but the nonstick surface is flaking off on the 10 inch. We use that one every day, and sticking has started to become a problem. Very disappointing as everything used to slide right off.

Bottoms warp when on stove

As soon as these pans heat up on my glass-top electric stove the bottoms warp and become quite convex - shaped almost like a ball. Only a small part of the center bottom touch the stove and get hot, and the pan wobbles like crazy. Then the whole pan tips a bit towards the handle side because it is heavier. Overall, a big disappointment. Might work better on a gas stove, but that's just a guess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
