Short lived non-stick coating

Bought this about 8 months ago. Cooking eggs and heating other foods start sticking after a few uses. Very disappointed with the quality in terms of its price. Lower priced brands has surprisingly performed better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What happened

Let me preface this review, we are still using our wedding set from 1992, with this said we have been replacing mostly fry pans and of late have noticed the non-stick and outter bottom have not held up to everyday home cooking. Over time we notice non-stick lasting around severaal years. Recently a pair of Contempory non stick pans purchased at the holiday didn't make it 60 days before the non-stick began flaking off, luckily I return them for a replacement. What lines are made in USA still?

Suitable for the price

I have used these two pan for the last twelve months and was satisfied with their overall performance. However, as time passed, they have lost their non-stick properties. I have always been very careful as to how the pans were cared for. The pans are ok for the price, they are however far from professional quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great pans - great value

I'm so glad I bought these pans. They are a comfortable weight, really nonstick, very easy to clean and good looking too. They price was very low for these high-quality skillets and I expect them to last for years.

Id moved out of my parent's home, and for the first time, was officially "On my own". So, I ventured online to look up reviews on best value of pots/pans. Not surprisingly, Calphalon quickly made the list. I went out and purchased a set for myself. I LOVE my pots and pans, and began raving to my mother "You just have to get some of these!" She begged to differ. My Mom was insistent that HER pots and pans were way better. When Id finally made it back home, I decided to investigate....were her pans really better than my Calphalons?? Well....they were definitely as good as mine....cause they were Calphalons as well! This whole time, she'd been arguing with me "Ive had my pots and pans for years V, there's no way any new sets are better than mine!" Seems we were both correct. From our family to yours: Calphalon products are timeless, dependable, and the best option for kitchenware.

As the owner of a B&B, I rely on these pans to cook a perfect omelet each and every time. Even heat distribution and of course, non-stick.
