Love These Skillets

Excellent product, easily cleaned, very good in use.Scrambled eggs come out easily, French toast easy to do, just a pleasure to use.

Good value for the product

I have a number of skillets including copper and copper-core steel-clad. These are excellent work horse skillets that are light and easy to use with their stay-cool handles. I still need my "always stick" pans for developing fonds for sauces and browning, but these are perfect for saute or frying work.

my wife cannot use the 12 inch skillet because of it's heavy weight.she loves the 10 inch skillet but cannot recommend the set as such.Do you know anyone who would like to have this 12 inch skellet?

Tandem purchase worth it

Having already purchased a 12-inch Calphalon pan about three years ago, it almost immediately from day one became the most often used pan in the kitchen. It did an excellent job cooking things like chicken and lamb, among other things. Unfortunately, it got a little beat up over the years, as the lamb that was purchased from a butcher's shop often needed to be cut into smaller pieces, with the mistake being that the meat was cut while cooking in the pan. With these new pans, the plan is to be conscious to cut the meat before cooking it in the pan, which I anticipate will further extend the life of each of the pans significantly. And make either of them the most used pans in the kitchen once again.

They were heavier duty than the price indicated. I honestly thought I would be getting inferior pans but these are great! We love them!
