Love My New Skillets

My poor old non-stick skillets had to be discarded and now that I have this wonderful pair of replacements, I wish I'd replaced them sooner. The weight of the pans is perfect, easy cleaning and just all around what I needed.

We love Calphalon for all of our everyday cooking. It has a fabulous non stick surface and the thicker base allows the heat to disperse evenly. There is easy clean up too. This is our fifth purchase of this line of pans. Great gifts too.

2-pc. Nonstick Skillet Set by Calphalon

very good value for the dollar. this is 3rd set i have bought. nice heavy bottom, good heat distribution. cooking area in pan appears to be true level and flat. handles are strong and riveted to pan, will not come loose nor fall off. this is a strong, well built pan. nonstick surface is good for about 6 months, after that, food tends to stick. around 8 months in, and yes i know how to clean and maintain em, the non stick surface starts to crinkle and distort. about that time, stop cooking with them, non stick will start to come loose from the surface of the pan. I have other brands of skillets that over 3 years old, where the non stick surface is fine. i prefer the Calphalon skillets, better heat control, even cooking, feel good in my hands. just figure on replacing em every 7 to 8 months. shame but, figure, tools wear out.
