This is a great product. Will probably buy the smaller size as well,however this size works great for cooking bacon, etc.

Just what I wanted. Big enough for everything, heats evenly. Heavy but not too as some have said. Cleans like a dream.

I think Michael Simon is a terrific chef. If he recommends a product there has to be substance to that recommendation. The fry pan is quality all the way from its appearance to the heft to the way it performs. I will be with Calphalon for a very long time. If this pan lasts as long as I think it will, I may not have to ever order another one.

The non stick pan is fabulous!!! I have never had a non stick pan that worked as well as this one!!! Pricy yes, but so worth the money!!!

Too Big---Ha

I bought this for my Wife who fell in love with two nonstick skillets (Calphalon) I got for her several months ago. She took one look at the 13.5 inch skillet and pronounced it was "too big," too expensive" and she would have little use for it. Fast forward three weeks. She has used the skillet almost every day (twice yesterday) and wonders why she thought it was too big and what a great bargain. She can't believe it is really nonstick as nonstick as her other Calphalon skillets and cleans up so quickly with a little soap and dish cloth. She already plans to give one to one of our sons who loves to cook for his birthday in April.

Fabulous work-horse, "go to" pan!

I purchased this pan w/lid set to replace a Cuisinart model, that was similar, that bowed in the middle after only having it a couple months. The Calphalon pan is FAR superior in quality and weight! The bottom of the skillet is thicker and heavier. More importantly, the entire bottom surface is flat on my ceramic cook top and does not "rock" like my old pan. This plan cleans up like a breeze and is definitely my "work horse" pan for the many one-skillet meals I make for my family. I also own a Calphalon 10" omelet pan, which is my "go to" pan for smaller dishes that require a fry-type pan. Excellent products!

I love my 13 inch Fry Pan!

This pan actually turned out to be larger than I thought it would be, but was the perfect size to fry chicken without having the grease splatter so much, thanks to the deep sides.
It cooked evenly and with no sticking whatsoever.

Looking for a large enough pan for a lot of stir frys but non-stick type. I have tried several cheaper versions but this one works fine. It's quite heavy but means it will cook evenly. I use it on flat ceramic stove and it works well. Other thin pans will not be optimal since pans will tend to change flat surface when heated.
