This was the first Calphalon pot that I purchased. It was unbelievably versatile in the manner in which it can be used. I have used it for deep frying, pan frying, braising meat to orchestrate awesome gravies/sauces, sautéing vegetables, searing meat and then putting it in the oven to finish cooking. I also use it as a wok. Everything turns out delicious.

Love this skillet.

I bought this skillet about 12 months ago and use it all the time. It's a perfect fry pan but also a great pan for bigger dishes. I like the extra handle on the opposite side from the main handle. For a large pan this is absolutely necessary Large enough for skillet meals. Great for a big family.

Heavyweight & truly nonstick!

I needed to replace a worn out nonstick skillet. I thought it was a 13" diameter skillet, so ordered this one online. When I got it, I saw my old one was smaller. This skillet is extremely heavyweight. I've never used one this huge before! I initially inaugurated it by cooking some bacon in it. Then followed with cooking sausage patties.
I tried lifting the skillet with one hand to pour off the bacon grease. The skillet was so heavy, I couldn't tilt it. I then used both hands on the handle. But still couldn't tilt it enough to completely pour off the grease! i forgot about the lift handle on the opposite side of the skillet.
If you've never used a skillet this huge before, it does take some getting used to. But it truly is non stick to make cleaning it up a breeze! This skillet will outlive me!

A non-stick pan!

I have spent my entire marriage looking for a non-stick pan. I have been through several pans that claim to be non-stick. Each time I bought one, I used it, and thought, "Wouldn't it be incredible if I could actually find a non-stick pan."
I love this pan! It's big enough to cook for my family, and it does not stick! I wish I had two or three; its home is on the stove because I use it literally every single day. I'm put out if my husband takes more than a couple of hours to wash it, because I need it again. It doesn't stick! I can cook anything! Best. Pan. Ever.

This is the best fryer ever!!!! I bought this because I wanted a big fryer and this one is great. I loved it so much that I bought one for my mother and my auntie, they both love to cook. Calphalon is the only cookware I allow in my kitchen!!!!!

When I met my first Calphalon product I fell in love because I found the products to be beautifully designed and structurally sound. Therefore when I finally decided to splurge and welcome one of the Calphalon products into my kitchen, this pan was it. I bought this pan several years ago and it is still my favorite "go to" pan for all of my stir fry and "one dish" meal needs. This pan satisfies aIl my needs for stove top cooking and even some oven baking. Additionally, I chose this pan because I like cooking in a skillet but I needed it to be large and not shallow like most standard skillets are designed to be. I am in love with this pan because it is quite durable, easy to clean and cooks all my foods evenly. It's a home run whenever you can combine beauty with functionality. Hurray!

What a Pot Roast!!

Needed a large pan to prepare pot roast. Sure glad I purchased this item. It lives up to the Calphalon standards, easy to use, easy to clean. This skillet is the most used piece of cookware I own.
