Commercial Quality At An Affordable Price

Having been without a gas range for over a decade, I knew what I wanted, and I knew what I didn't want. The Cafe' dual fuel 30" range checked all of the boxes for me, without the added price of more expensive ranges offered by other manufacturers. This range is solid, versatile, and has been a joy to cook and bake with in the short time that we've had it. I love the feel of the controls, straightforward design, and the combination of burners offers endless options for a variety of cooking methods. I highly recommend this range to anyone who is looking for that commercial appliance at an affordable price.

Dual fuel. 6 gas burners. Griddle included. Oven features, bake, broil, conv bake, conv roast, thermometer, air fry, warming drawer, electric clean or steam clean, porcelain racks don't have to be removed during cleaning. Smart HQ.

Very powerful, but maybe too powerful

I'm impressed that 6 burners are actually useful on a 30 inch stove. The oven is perfect with the convection settings and just overall performance.
The one thing that both my wife and I can't quite get is that we have a lot of oil splatter after we cook on the stove. With our previous Bosch, we didn't have as much. But this, after we cook even the simplest things that involve oil, we are doing a full cleaning of the stove. That seems excessive. However, we are still getting use to it, and I think that 'medium' on this stove is not halfway around the dial. A '5' here is a 7 or 8 on any other stove.
The 'big' burner doesn't have as much splatter with the double flame -- we tend to keep it very low. For us, though, we don't use that one much because it is in an inconvenient place. We are planning on doing a kitchen reno, and once that is done it will be more useful.

Love the Cafe Series!

Wow, what an impressive duel duel range! We have had GE Appliances for the last 35+ years, and the Cafe Series appears to be the nicest series. We’ve had numerous Profile Performance products and all were great. Having the fuel fuel feature makes cooking and baking a breeze. Awesome!

We changed from a 20yo Dacor that was built like a tank. Quality on this isn't quite as good as the Dacor (door, racks, etc not as heavy) but the convenience features mostly make up for it. Love that when you turn on a (gas) burner, the over the range light comes on automatically. Nice to be able to preheat on the way home from work using the app. Much quieter than our old stove.

Installation went pretty well, although struggled with having enough room for the gas line and the cord to go behind the range between the wall and range. Range needs more recess in back for this.
