Love our new range

I picked this Cafe model because it checked all of the boxes I was looking for. The power of the big burner is amazing. I also love being able to lower to the lowest setting without having to keep from putting the fire out. All in all a beautiful range.

Great stove and oven...love the quick boil burner! This is our first convection oven and it is taking a little time to get comfortable. All in all, adjusting quickly and oven does an amazing job. The unit looks fantastic!

We had a basic GE and replaced with this cafe model. So far so good. I have cooked on stove top and baked. Already hooked to phone and used this feature :). The gas comes on very quickly and wow is this a power house. Very happy with this purchase.

Nice dual fuel range with great features

I love our dual fuel range. With the gas cooktop, I am able to cook more quickly and evenly.
The cast iron grates are heavy duty. Look forward to cooking and baking with this range for many years to come.

Frustrating

We just had this range installed and already I'm hugely frustrated. There is no comprrenesive manual to refer to - only online. There are no answers to expalin why I can't get the settings on the panel to stay light and hold the time when set. I do not want to complicate my life with WiFi settings from my phone, yet everything keeps "pushing" me there. I just wanted an easy ordinary range to cook on...
What this range does have (but I have not tried yet) is duel fuel - ideal for gas cooktop cooking and electric for oven roasting/baking. I am very happy about this feature!

Warming drawer is a cooking drawer

Only two thigs worth of comment: The lowest temperature control setting for the "Warming" drawer" is well over 200F making it too high for warming plates.
The stainless steel top of the range (the area around the burners) shows ever speck of grease so a black top would be more user friendly and eliminate almost daily cleaning.

Good not great

Overall good stove. This is my second GE dual fuel range. The first was a Profile. I cook a lot - a heavy user. I am disappointed that the trend has been to make the stoves deeper. My counter is standard depth but the new stove sticks out a couple of inches - not appreciated in a tight kitchen. I believe it is because of the vent in the back which was not in the old stove. The old stove had a slight overhang so nothing could get in the cracks. This one does not. I have not been able to use all of the features because some of the features are only accessible with the phone app which I find annoying. I tried to open my account but I cannot find the proper password which was supposed to be in the oven. The preheat in the oven is slow - pretty much comparable to my 20 year old stove. I like the design of the stove top - easy to clean. I do not know why there are 6 burners on a 30" stove - 5 is more than adequate and the griddle is overkill. My favorite feature so far is the warming drawer with multiple settings.
