Love this Duel Fuel

It's been a long time since I've had a gas range and the Cafe duel fuel is awesome. I have used the Air Fryer several times and love the results. I'm excited about the new & improved convection cooking. Multiple fans are truly the answer to proper convection cooking. I'm looking forward to holiday baking.

Best dual range/oven ever

My new Cafe dual range/oven is overall the very best among many I have owned. I love the quality of the six well placed, exceptionally designed burners that are easy to adjust, making it so much easier to control the heat on each one. The oven racks can be self cleaned within the oven which is a plus that counts with me. The sliding rack is another welcome addition. Perhaps one of my favorite features is it being a Smart appliance which links to over the range microwave automatically turning on vent and lights when range turned on. It also notifies me on my iPhone or Apple Watch when preheat temp reached among other key messages. All this on my 30” range that I never guessed could function so perfectly.

Great Range

Love the set up. Wish one of the front burners was smaller but that is just because of the way I coo. Oven is fabulous and heats up quickly and stays at temperature.

Soft metal scratches.

We previously had a Thermidor which was fantastic. Both in cooking and maintenance. After 12 years a little wipe down and it looked like new until we sold our house. So in our current house that we remodeled, we bought the GE Cafe series. Stainless steel. The metal scratches even when you follow manual for cleaning. For the high price, they need to use higher quality metal. Unfortunate. Since we aren’t staying in this hous as it is a transition, we will leave it. In our new house we will definitely NOT purchase Cafe. Sad, because every other feature is great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We know that can be visually unpleasant. Cleaners that contain Oxalic Acid, such as Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser, will remove rust, tarnish, and small blemishes on stainless steel. Use only the liquid cleanser (free of grit) and be sure rub in the direction of the metal grain lines with a damp soft sponge. This cannot be used on Black Stainless.
If the stainless steel is scratched, using this cleaning method can often help reduce the appearance of the scratches. For visible scratches, there is not an approved repair method to cover the scratches. We hope this helps. Mike@Cafe

Overall great gas range

Have owned about 30 days and so far have been very pleased with the product. Only negative comments is that the timer is not loud enough and that you have to use an App to use the air fryer.
