What an Improvement

This replaces our 20+ year old Jenn-Air dual fuel range and so far it’s great.

Really like how fast food can be cooked. Also, like the spacing of the cooking elements on the stove top. Wish the timer can be set for seconds instead of only minutes and hours.

I Love My Cafe Dual Fuel Range!

I received my range 2 weeks ago. After the conversion to LP gas was done the installation of the range was completed. I was concerned that the BTU's of the top burners would be too low on LP, but I was wrong! There is plenty of heat and all of my burners work very well. I did adjust the low flame setting on each burner to allow a very low setting for simmer/keep warm.
Before baking in the oven, I used my calibrated digital thermometer to check the temperature. On my range, the oven temperature was 14 degrees too hot. It was easy to set the offset on the digital keypad. The convection baking temperature was very stable. I only saw a variance of .4 degrees from the temperature setting during the cycles. So far I have baked some cookies without convection that turned out perfectly. The time repeated perfectly for each batch.
On the stove top, my large pasta pot gets to a full boil in about 10 minutes. Eggs fry perfectly every morning and hot cereal cooks without boil over or burns.
There is NO COMPARISON to my previous electric glass cook top. I will never go back to electric stove top cooking.

Our new Cafe dual fuel

Fun to cook with-more so than with the electric top. Easy to control gas flame and electric oven with internal sensor probe. Oven control electronics are clean and straight forward.

Wow - It's a whole lot of machine!

I wanted a stove that I could see and control the heat. What a difference. The burners have great flexibility by size and BTU output ranges. I put in a 23.4 gal propane tank, did the piping and did the conversion from gas orifices to propane. Studied the owners manual which was spot on. Pared the stove WIFI to my phone which is really paying off. I really can't say what a huge difference it has been in our family. Its only been a little over a month. My wife and I both like to be creative with food and our New Café was the missing link to preparing and cooking. And amazingly I haven't warped on new pan yet. The oven works like a champ. Tried the oven thermometer and found out the hard way that when the temperature setting for inside the food is up to temperature the oven will shut off. Duh! It was right in the manual. I'm kind of a fanatic about cleaning so I wipe down every time we're done. Cleaning is easy. My wife wanted to try the auto clean. And that too was perfect. the only thing we have not used yet is the warming oven drawer. But that is going to happen. Hope others are having a great time with their new stove. Peace Jim and Blanca
