Beautiful range easy to clean

This is the nicest range I’ve ever used. I was even able to calibrate the oven easily. It is easy to figure out all of the controls and really easy to clean. It feels well built.

I love this range! The ease of use, the value for the money, great styling, pleasant tones, the functionality of the app (never having to worry if I left the burner or oven on-PRICELESS!). The convection baking is a whole new world from gas oven cooking. The burners and the controls are great-I like the feel of turning them off and knowing they are off. Easy to clean, fun to use-my cooking has come up a lot since buying this beauty. I am so well pleased and know that I paid a fair price and got top of the line performance and styling. After 18 years on my old very basic gas range, I am happy that I have this one to make cooking fun instead of a chore. I have not yet used the probe and still have more features to explore (I’ve had it 2 months), but everything has been cooking much better, and I’m confident in trying any recipe now. This range and a subscription to Cook’s Illustrated, and I’m a happy mom!!!

Love my new dual fuel range. The electric oven works great and love the control of the 6 gas burners. The warming drawer is a nice plus.

Love the Six Burners

I usually need an extra burner and now I have 2 more. So that's great. I like how the oven racks glides better than average (but they should at this price). Other pros for me are the nice alarm sound, my last range's was so annoying. It took 3 ranges to get one that was good enough to keep, so quality control is lacking. First one came with a crooked warming drawer, a manufacturing defect. Also, one burner only worked for 2 hours then stopped functioning altogether. The second came with a defect to the oven's enamel. The third time was a charm. I like the edge to edge grates, which enables the 6 burners to fit. The grates are heavy and the little pads under them are undersized for the job; I'm concerned they will end up scratching the SS cooktop b/c the pads are so small. Really need to fix that. I've not used the warming drawer in the month I've had it, and I thought that was such a big deal, Ehh, not so much an important feature, maybe during the holidays. The range comes with deeply impressed greasey fingerprints from the factory. We thought it was the delivery guys', but no they showed us on the third range how the fingerprints were UNDER the shrinkwrap the range was protected with. Takes FOREVER to wipe those off. Total pain! Again, lack of quality control. Lastly, the open feature my 24 year old Amana range had that this new fangled one is sorely missing is the ability to preset the turn off time on the oven. BIG disappointment, as I used this feature often. I just assumed the new ranges still had this. Lastly, the delivery company GE uses for our area is TOTALLY unprofessional. Happens same company delivered our new fridge and scratched our hardwood floors pulling out the old one, pretty badly. When they delivered the range (recall we had 3 ranges delivered) we asked they send out their more experienced people. Supposedly we got the A Team, they scratched up our door frame and the cabinets next to the range. It became a full-time job getting them to compensate us. Make sure you snap pics of your floor and kitchen area before the delivery is my advice. Due to extensive research we settled on this Cafe, only time will tell, but we bought the extra warranty. Bonus tip: I found out one of our credit cards gives you 2 year extra warranty if you pay with that.

High power

Been using this regularly for about a month. Super consistent heat both up top and in the oven. Incredibly easy to clean and fast to remove the burners to clean around/under them. Biggest issue is heat control as the burners are so hot I almost never go beyond a 4 on them unless I'm boiling water on the power burner. Which speaking of is amazing. So fast to boil water. Overall I'd spend the extra money on it again.
