Beautiful, but flawed

The range looks beautiful and performs pretty well. The super high heat burner is tough to control- perhaps too powerful. And the digital screen above the oven door has exhibited problems from day 1. When the oven is on and hot, opening the door makes the “warming drawer” options to pop up on the screen. It looks like it is due to the close proximity of the heat from the oven and the electronics. Functions today, but I do expect problems and would not buy another range with a digital screen. I also bought the edging to cover any potential gaps with this slide in range. Unfortunate the edging does not quite line up with the stove and the edge gap and was not installed.
On the top of the range where the burners are located, there is a small gap where the top is connected. This area likes to collect crumbs and is tough to clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Another garbage appliance by GE

I don't know why I keep doing this to myself. I had a GE Cafe fridge with a leaking ice maker, a GE front load washer that turns on by itself and now this...
I have to admit, it's a looker. But there apparently is some foam that they forgot to remove in the factory and it's burning every time I turn on the oven, with smoke coming out everywhere. I had to breathe these potentially hazardous fumes and I am just furious. How many screw ups can this company have? How did this even pass QC?
For your sake and the safety of your family, avoid GE appliances.

An amazing stove

After a month of cooking two to three times a day for my family of six, including me, this is one of the best stoves I have ever used. It's a little pricey, but all the features make it worth it. This stove is a 220V, so you will need a 220 line if you don't already. This stove uses gas and electric. Gas for cooking and baking. Electric for broiler and warmer. The Cafe stove is the easiest to clean. You can remove all burners and grates, no screws or latches to deal with. The burners set in place and easily pull straight out. Even though this stove doesn't have a setting for Air Fry, using feature, Convention Roast at 400° degrees or higher is the same thing. The reason for this is because of the convention fan is running while using this setting and acts just like a normal Air Fryer. All in all its a great stove and I'm really enjoying it.

worst purchase ever

After a couple of months of ownership, called in for service for constant sparking. After multiple appts and multiple parts changed, GE ended up replacing the range. Guess what?! The new range still has the same problem. Decided to wait to report problem, but kept putting it off until it was too late. Warranty had lapsed. So we're stuck with this issue. Also, have issues with sound being intermittent. Sometimes there will be no sound when pressing buttons, so I won't hear when the oven is preheated, or when I set the timer, I won't hear the beeping sound when timer is up leading to overcooked food. This range is also easily stained. If you're not in the habit of cleaning after every use, be prepared to have hard to remove/permanent stains.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clean look

We needed the dual feature of the oven and cooktop. The only complaint we have is that the new stove did not fit in our existing space and we now have gaps on either side of the stove. Wish we had an option for the old overhang our previous range had. Cooks great and looks great.

6 burners
