Not what I expected

First, I'd like to say this is my first gas range purchase. I've cooked with many gas stoves before but this one is definitely different. I LOVE having 6 burners on this stove and the cast iron griddle definitely is a bonus! But I'm not entirely in love with the oven. My biggest issue is that it HAS to be connected to wifi in order to use the convection feature. That is simply irrelevant to be able to use convection oven and should NOT be required. The racks do not pull out or go in easily when the oven is hot and I'm not sure why that is. I've not used all the features on this range yet, because it requires you to download the manual and read through it. So, overall I like the look and stove of the range but not in love with the way the features of using the oven are set up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Noisy and wireless function cumbersome.

Would give it a higher rating if the fan wasn't so loud and if functions weren't tied to the wireless. I can understand wanting to turn the oven on and off remotely. Why would you require wireless to air fry or convection roast?!!
My third GE appliance this year and the washing machine is noisy too!!

Certain functions made available after production of the range will require a wireless connection for use. Why do I need to have Wi-Fi for some features such as air Grier option? That’s a big disappointment. Overall happy with these stove.

Had a 10 year old Cafe dual range and wanted to upgrade so bought the same thing just newer. I like the Wi-Fi option on the new as well as the 6 burners! I also love how the controls blackout and that there's a steam clean option!

Disappointed

We bought this dual range to replace our old, outdated drop in stove. This was my first time buying a new range so I was so excited. From day one, we have the phantom clicking when trying to use the power boil and we found out Thanksgiving the oven probe doesn’t work. We are on service call number 3 to address the phantom clicking and hopefully to fix the probe issue. I wish I would have gone with the Kitchen Aide instead.

A great upgrade to our downdraft model

We had such a pleasant surprise the first time we used our Cafe range. We had a downdraft that took so long to boil water I had stopped canning on it. This little range boils water in a heartbeat. The simmer burner is fantastic for making pots of bean and potatoes and the wok actually got too hot on the power burner. The electric oven is great (we did have to tweak the temperature a bit), baking wonderful breads and cookies, and the Thanksgiving turkey turned out wonderfully.
I love the temperature probe roasting and that brings me to the one problem we've had with the range. The probe handle seemed to loosen with heat and finally came off altogether. I contacted GE service on 2/13 and am still waiting for the replacement on 2/28. Other than this little snafu, we're very happy with our purchase.
