This is the absolute perfect product for families with newly crawling/walking babies! It is easy to assemble and effective. It also looks very nice and classy in our home. I definitely recommend buying this product!

Easily set up gate!

I received this product free for reviewing purposes. It's a great gate. Nice and study. It is super easy to install. It comes with everything you need so you don't need to seek out any extra tools or screws or anything like that. It's pressurized so you don't need to drill any pieces into your wall or door frame in order to use it which I love. It works perfectly fine keeping my son safe. The only thing I don't like is the fact that you have to watch your step going through so you don't trip on the bottom of the gate's frame. It's a minimal trip hazard but it's still there.

Reliable Baby Gate

I received this baby gate in perfect time as my son is crawling. The instructions read very clear and I was able to install the gate within 5 minutes. It also doubles as a perfect pet gate also!

Best Gate

This is the best gate I've used. The installation was so easy. It took less than ten minutes to install. The included tool made it even easier. It took me longer to figure out which door to put it in than it did to install it. At first the lock mechanism was confusing, as I was more accustomed to my other gate, but once I figured it out I liked it much better. It's easier to open and shut with the slide versus having a button. I also really like the locks at the bottom to dictate which way the gate swings. I am not using them at the moment but it is a super convenient option if you don't want it to swing both ways. Another happy surprise was it locks open if you open it all the way, so you don't have to worry about it swinging shut if you're doing something like bringing in several items and don't want to bother opening the gate each time. It's the perfect height for a toddler, but still low enough for me to step over if I need to (I'm just over 5 feet tall). Overall this is the perfect gate. I don't think I'll use any other after using this one.

Perfect baby gate!

I am loving this Safety 1st baby gate!! So very easy to install if you follow all the directions! Very sturdy gate for my one year old and my huge goldendoodle! I have tried the plastic baby gates that you have to climb over or take down to get across them and they are a pain! This baby gate you just open the door and that's it! The quality of this baby gate is great compared to the plastic ones!! I would definitely recommend this safety 1st gate to anyone with a baby, toddler, or dogs! Worth every penny!!

solid safety gate

This safety gate is really solid and easy to install. It fits standard door frames, but may not work in other openings (so check the size of where you want to use it). The installation instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow. They have also marked on the fence which pieces should be held for last to keep the install smooth. The size is a little short, maybe a bit above my knees, which would make this better for small children. Toddlers may try climbing over it, if you have an active and determined one like me. Some other gates come in taller heights, so you can follow the measurements of this one to see if it is tall enough for you/your child. The metal is very sturdy, and the clasp is easy to do once you get the hang of it, making it work nice and smoothly. As long as you know the limitations (about width and height), this is perfect for most doorways.

Baby Gate

Great gate, super simple installation, took me probably 5 mins on my own. Gate has a bit of a tricker opening mechanic than a lot of gates I've seen, so it might be the solution if your toddler is an escape artist with other gates. Door swings both ways and stays open when pushed either way, so it's not constantly swinging when in use, great plus. This gate is very sturdy, once installed correctly, it will not budge, my clumsy kiddo has ran into it multiple times and it hasn't needed adjusted since being installed. Something to note, this is only suitable for standard doorway entrances. I was hoping it would be long wide enough to work in my hallway but no such luck.
