Super easy install and stylish tension gate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gate is much better looking than my gray plastic one I had up. It was super easy to install but it is a little shorter than my previous one, which makes it so much easier for me to just walk over. We need a gate between our front hall and kitchen to keep the babe from going into the bathroom/or up the stairs and also to keep our dog away from the front door so this is perfect!
I love the wood look and the plastic geometric center almost looks like metal from far away, it doesn’t look plastic at all in my opinion. My favorite part about this gate is it’s not a hideous plastic baby gate. It actually looks nice in my entryway.
The metal clasp is very strong and kind of difficult to loosen, but it’s better than it being loose!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The look and style of this gate was very nice and neutral. It is very lightweight which could be good or bad depending on your needs. I would’ve preferred a stronger, more durable feel to the gate. While it was simple to install, it’s not the easiest to open. Due to its construction and quality, I’m not sure how well it will hold up. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending this gate to me.

Grey wood baby gate

I love how sleek and lightweight this gate is, and it was very easy to install. It is perfect for our hall entry as it is quick and easy to pop on and off depending on our needs for the day. While it is great for creating a barrier, I would not have felt comfortable using this gate during our son’s climbing days around 18 months, as it does not feel/look like it would hold up to frequent climbing/pushing. However for before and after that phase it is much more aesthetically pleasing and easy to move around than our big heavy duty plastic one.

Cute gate semi permanent set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I really like the design and look of the gate. It's much more attractive than any other gates I've seen on the market. It's short enough that I can step over it negating the need to open it one handed. I originally wanted to set it up at the top of stairs, but decided it wasn't the most functional place for it and put it in my kitchen. Set up is easy, but I wish it wasn't quite so permanent. I like to be able to move my gates as needed and unless I buy more wall cups and adhesive pads, it's staying there for good. It is tall enough to keep the baby in place, but if you have a large dog, it likely won't be a problem for them to get over. The only other thing to consider is if you have bulky baseboards, this will need to go above them. Mine are about 4 inches high, leaving a generous gap at the bottom.

Easy to install baby gate

Great gate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this gate to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Really enjoy using the Safety 1st Vintage Grey Wood Doorway Security Gate. I like the aesthetic of the gate as the traditional “old school” type gate but with newer modern additions. There’s still some plastics on it though. I’d would have preferred it to be fully wooden. It was a little tricky to figure out at first but now I can use it effortlessly. I have it in the kitchen keeping the babies out of the area while it’s busy in there. My older toddler (3) hasn’t figured out how to open it and let himself in yet like he has with all the other gates we’ve had. This one actually stays put! What I like most about the gate is that my toddler can’t open it so it actually does it’s job.

Good Gate Option

I feel like it is a good height and I liked the installation options for the walls so that I could accommodate the trim at the bottom of my walls. They were easy to install on the wall and held the gate well. Adjusting the gate was difficult at first and a little tricky, but I was able to secure it.

Decent gate for some households but not mine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, it is a decent gate and seems very sturdy yet lightweight. I'm not a fan of the vintage style though- I prefer the type of gate that you are able to open without having to dismount. It's easy to install using a pressure mounted system. It's a nice color. It has a wooden frame with grate made out of a plastic holed material. If I'm being highly critical, some of the plastic holes can be a little sharp, like it was never smoothed off after the fabrication process. The height of the gate is a little low. If you are using this gate for a toddler, it may or may not be successful depending on how adventurous your toddler is. My toddler climbs right over this with its short height using the holes for leverage. However, if it keeps your little one out/in, then the height can be an advantage because its easy for an adult to step over.
