Aesthetically pleasing safety gate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Safety 1st vintage grey baby gate for free as a test product from stellar reviews. We have used it to keep our dog and toddler out of the kitchen area and off of the stairs. We love the look of it in our home! It is also very easy to use and install/uninstall quickly and is very versatile. I am looking forward to having this on hand especially when we have guests over with small children.

Highly Adjustable but Too Flimsy for a Toddler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stellar Product Testing Panel was kind enough to provide us with this gate. We tested it in a bedroom doorway, as we have existing gates for our stairways. Given this, we didn't want to use the cups to screw into the doorjamb. Using the pressure mount only (which I will note is not recommended) resulted in our two year old pulling the gate out of the doorway immediately. The ability to move the gate from place to place is useful and it would be perfect for our dog, but not safe or effective for our child as we used it.

Aesthetically pleasing but difficult to open

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For starters, this gate is beautifully designed and visually unique compared to others on the market. I loved the rustic/vintage wood look – it fits perfectly with the style of my home! I use it in my living room, nestled between my couches, as a way to keep my son in a contained space. The design is similar to a classic baby gate with a peg-like mechanism for adjusting the width. I will say the clasp is a bit difficult to unlatch. However, in all fairness, most gates aren't easy to open for child safety reasons. Overall, the gate was ready to use straight out of the box and was self-explanatory. I was very impressed with the aesthetics of this gate. It's refreshing to have modern, visually pleasing baby gate options available that can blend seamlessly into your home without sticking out like a sore thumb. Thank you, Safety 1st, for leading the way with this beautiful design and to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to test and review this product!

Would Not recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Saftey 1st Vintage Grey Wood baby gate from Stellar Product Testing Panel with excitement considering my youngest is always getting into everything and I thought it would double as a gate to contain our dog. Unfortunately, we were never able to actually use the gate because we could not install it. The molding in the doorway did not work with the instillation that was sent and could not be put in. I was also a little bummed about the coloring. I know that is is called “vintage” but the look was not appealing and just looked old. Therefore, I would not recommend this product.

Love the neutral wood look

I’ve been looking for an aesthetically pleasing gate for my home for a while now and this one is perfect! My son just turned one and has started walking so it was time to baby proof the house. We put this gate at the bottom of the stairs and it fits right in with my neutral home decor. It took me about 10 minutes or so to set up - very simple and easy to follow directions! It feels sturdy and it’s the perfect height for me to easily step over, even while holding my toddler. For anyone looking for a cute gate instead of the typical plastic ones, this is for you!

Safety and Style Easy Install Wood Gate

The design is attractive with a vintage grey wood finish that complements our home's decor. The gate has a slim, lightweight design and the adjustable width (28-42 inches) makes it a good fit for various doorways. The pressure-mounted design was a breeze to install, taking no time at all. We love the flexibility of this gate. We originally placed it in the laundry room to keep our curious baby away from the dog food, but it's also fantastic for containing the dog when we have guests over. Overall, the easy installation and versatility are what impressed me most about this gate.

Lightweight Gate

We had been looking for a new gate that is easy to transport, install, and remove and this is the one! This gate is very easy to adjust and install to keep the kids and dogs out of places they shouldn’t be. This gate is very sturdy and surprisingly lightweight. I loved the darker color because it blended into our area better than a white gate! I would recommend this gate!

Quick cute gate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wood finish of this gate looks great! We used it without the mounting cups and it went up in the doorway very fast. We used the gate to keep our kids out of the laundry room. The ease of use is the best part of this gate, as we were able to put it up within a couple minutes. It is a lower profile gate, so i can easily step over it but it does its job of keeping the kids out of the laundry room. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this product.
