Outsmart Lever Lock

The Safety 1st Outsmart Lever Lock is a great product. The lock attaches to a hinge door knob very easily. The buttons to operate the lock are on the side so a child is not able to open the lock. There is a button on the front of the lock that little ones can press and has no function. It only opens from the side buttons. I really like this lock and its perfect for the hinged door knob.

This product works wonders. We have a 4 year old nephew that gets into everything right now and this lock is the perfect decoy for his inquiring mind! While he thinks he is steps ahead of us, much like the packaging says, we have outsmarted him. Will continue to use on all lever locks in order to secure the house!

My son hasn't figured out how to open doors yet, but it's only a matter of time as he is on the move and very curious. I was excited to see this type child proofing for this kind of door handle. My nephew is a few months older than my son and likes to get into the bathroom to play in the toilet. We installed this product on our bathroom door and put him to the test. He could not figure out how to open the door with this in place. My sister was so happy that a product finally allowed him to stay out of the bathroom that she went to purchase one for her home. It does take some practice but it is easy to use once you get use to it. The decoy button is a great distraction for those little ones.

This was super easy to place on the door and serves its purpose of preventing kids to go into a room you do not want them in. I would buy more of these if necessary!

My kids get into everything. This lock makes sure they cannot open certain doors. It is easy for adults to figure out but kids cannot.

This was so easy to set up which is a huge plus! I'm a first time Mom so I'm definitely a bit more paranoid when it comes to my child. It works exactly how it's advertised! If you have a little one that is extremely curious and active this is definitely the product for you.

We have a handle just like this one on our door to our basement so traditional knob safety wouldn't work. We searched and searched for something that would work with a level lock, and we were really happy when we found this. Our 3 year old can't figure out how to open it, and the decoy button throws him off, which is great! It's keeping them much safer!

Fantastic door lock for sneaky toddlers

This product is fantastic for keeping our sneaky 3yr old from secretly escaping into the backyard. Our front door is sticky and heavy, plus it has a deadbolt but our backdoor can be easily opened by our little backyard runaway. This lock took 2 seconds to install and she has not figured out how to open it. The fake button on the bottom is so smart, our toddler constantly presses it!
