Easy to install but Extremely Hard to Open

I bought two of these gates for our stairs. One of the gates within a week has become very difficult to open.

The best gate we've bought!!

This is one of they best gates we've bought! It is super easy to install, I'm talking about in minutes this is up and ready! The best part is it's not flimsy at all and stays put even with a lot of force! I have two boys that constantly pushed and pulled on it and it never moved! This gate definitely did what it says and kept my boys safe from our steps. I honestly cannot recommend this enough! If you have little ones and are looking for a perfect gate, this is most definitely it!

Easy to Install - Hard to Open

The gate is very easy to install and the auto close feature is great. However, the buttons on the child safety lock are very hard to press and makes the gate very hard to open. We find ourselves stepping over it because it is easier than trying to open it.

Magnetic Latch

Magnetic latch is hard to use. Worked fine for a day then it becomes stuck. I took it apart and checked the mechanism to see if anything is broken. Nothing seems wrong. I put it back and it worked fine but after several uses it becomes stuck and you cannot push on the buttons to open the door.

Our daughter turned 10 months old today and is seriously on the move! She's days away from walking and we were in a panic about her getting into dangerous areas of the house. Just like the name, it's easy to install. My husband had it up in 10 min from box to finish. I like the auto close feature since my hands are usually full. The design is also great and blends in well with our kitchen and dining area. This should be added to registries so parents have one ready to go before panic sets in!

The installation of the gate is very simple a easy. The locking mechanism is cheap and cracked on us the 2nd day after the purchase. I would pass on this product and look at another brand.

Latch very hard to open

I have had this gate for a week. Worked great for the first few days, now the latch is very hard to open. I've taken it down and reinstalled and still have an issue with latch and need to use two hands to force it to open.

Broke after 4 months of use.
