Great Oven!

I bought this oven to replace an older GE oven. The look of the oven and the easy to use control panel add a nice touch to our kitchen. Beautiful, sleek look, and the performance of the oven is why I'm glad to give this review. It was a bit more than the other GE models, but well worth the price. I'm very happy with my new oven. Highly recommend!!

These double Ovens are great and do almost everything that you need. Very easy to use Touch screen and controls are intuative.

Great oven, some features could be better

We love our new oven, however, some operating features could be better. It would be nice if there were 2 timers. Also if the oven lights were individually controlled. The lowest temperature is 170.

The newer technology does an excellent job of keeping a constant temperature. The appearance is very clean and simple. Just the way I like it

Could be bigger inside & difficult to clean inside

I owned a 27" kitchenaid wall oven and replaced it with the 27" Cafe Platinum. The Kitchenaid was 1" wider and taller than the Cafe". I found that the inside surface is not at all forgiving when it comes to spills as my other oven, very difficult to clean up. The Cafe oven has oven is a very attractive clean looking oven. The touch screen is very attractive and so far the temperature very accurate. I cook with a thermometer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Blow air from exhaust forcefully

I just had it installed and my main complaint is that it blows hot air from the bottom quite forcefully. It’s taking a while to cool down, but meanwhile it’s blowing such hot air that the kitchen is very warm after 30 minutes.

Thanks for your review. Congrats on your new wall oven! Sorry to hear about the frustrations that you've encountered. The unit does vent from the space at the bottom of the lower oven. This allows the appliance to regulate the temperature inside of the oven while you're baking.

GE still gets what consumers want

Having installed a gourmet kitchen during construction, our last original appliance finally quit. It was the double oven. Shopping for a new one was
complicated by COVID shortages. I was able to obtain a fantastic GE cafe double oven at a fair price. Delivery took a little longer but when it finally came, it was worth the wait!
