Beautiful and functional

In our early ownership at least, quiet, even cooking. We also appreciate the beautiful, understanded design. One small point that we also love: Cafe's understated branding. Unit complements other appliances in our mixed-brand brand kitchen.

Beautiful addition to my kitchen

I’ve had this for only a month now and am very pleased. Beauty aside (and it looks great!), I love the features and performance. The ability to connect and co from via Wi-Fi/app is such a convenience and the digital controls are easy to use and there are some really nice built in programs to ensure foods are cooked to perfection.
So far everything I’ve cooked has come out great. Seems to heat very evenly and no hot spots that I can discern. Overall I am satisfied and would recommend it to a friend.

Works great and looks fantastic doing it!

This GE Cafe 27 inch double oven is a welcome addition to our kitchen and a terrific complement to our suite of other GE Cafe appliances.
The oven simply works and it works well. Based on the performance of our previous oven, which was only a few years old, these ovens pre-heat faster, cook more evenly, and look much nicer.
We love the convection feature and the newly added air-fry feature that was installed with the very first software update. My personal favorite feature is the ability to pre-heat the oven from my phone. We have yet to try the wired temperature probe, but if it works as well as the other features, I’m sure it will become a favorite as well.

The only negatives we’ve experienced so far are relatively minor, nothing more than a nuisance which should be corrected on subsequent models. 1. Why do both oven lights not work independently? Not the biggest concern but annoying nonetheless. 2. Make the terrific sliding racks easier to remove and install. Each time they are installed or removed it tends to scratch the sides of the oven. A potential design flaw which could lead to premature and unnecessary damage over time.
With that being said, I do not want to end on a negative note. This oven is worth the price because it works well and elevates the aesthetic of the space it occupies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features!

The oven doesn’t omit any heat around the doors. It’s quiet and cooks the food very evenly. We were surprised to find out it even had an Air fryer feature that we can’t wait to use!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very nice-looking high-end oven

The Cafe is a very nice high-end oven. We replaced an older basic GE oven - since CAFE products are part of GE, the installation into this space was easy as the dimensions are similar. The CAFE oven works great, with nice features like slide out racks and meat temp probes. The CAFE appliance has a very classic commercial look that improve the look of any kitchen.

Very slow to preheat

Very disappointed. This oven takes 20 minutes to preheat to 400. This is more than twice as long as my 20 year old oven that I replaced it with. It looks nice however, but its not as useful to me since it is so slow.

2O min to preheat, took over an

Took 20 min to preheat .had 2 prior GE monograms and /or top of line . Each lasted 14 yr. Cooked great . Had converted oven.
Was told didn’t need online set up Not true Told worked great .
Very easy . Conv oven and regular one take much longer . It’s crazy. Your tech was great , he had no clue u needed Wi-Fi for
conv roast. I had ordered a Viking but didn’t arrive after I yr so
went to what I had and sales person said it was great . Reviews
were good . It’s a big disappointment right now snd only praying it will cook Turkey okay . It’s scary
