Looks and works great, one small issue

We replaced a 50 year-old double oven (22 years of which the clock hadn't worked) with the Cafe. Now we have convection and air-fry, in addition to the usual array of functions. It looks beautiful, connects with the internet so we can control it from afar, plus, the clock works. One drawback, the shelves in the convection oven are a bit too large, so they scratch the oven sides when the position is changed. Graphite lubricant is provided "in case they stick", which helps, but the company should have bitten the bullet and had the shelves replaced

Researched this oven before purchasing. It has live up to all. My expectations. I only with it had a timer for each oven rather than just one timer.

Love my new oven

I am enjoying my Cafe oven. I like the features and the sliding shelves. I have used the air fryer setting and and the thermometer which both perfectly performed.

The smart features definitely help cooking a bit easier, and we really love the No Preheat Air Fry function that cooks healthier dishes without deep frying. Also, when you get a chance, try out the Smart HQ app which provides real time notifications and you can control it through your phone.

Great oven, but …

Very nice appliance in all ways except for the foul odor it gave off for the first five or so times I cranked it up to 550 (for hearth-style baking of bread and pizza). When it was installed the technician heated it up to 450 for 20 or so minutes, which was inadequate. Fortunately, we survived the chemically fumes, and are able to enjoy the appliance. One of my favorite functions is the proofing setting for bread/pizza dough. So, if you buy one of these, which I would recommend, prepare yourself for the long break-in period. Also, ours arrived with a bent roll-out rack, which the technician said his company (Allen and Peterson) would replace. Still waiting a month later. Not GE’s fault. Or maybe it is.

Arrived and bottom oven gets error

This arrived and the bottom oven received F353 error. Pretty disappointed to have this on this product .

We're sorry to hear about your oven getting that error code, that is definitely a cause for concern and not something we would expect from a newly installed model. The best thing to try in this situation is an electronic reset, this can be done by unplugging the power cord for about 30 seconds or resetting at the breaker.
