Nice to Have a Working Oven, again!

Our old oven became difficult to use, it would work ok'ish one day and then would not cook correctly, even something as simple as biscuits. Couldn't wait to get this oven installed and use it. My Wife is so please with the appearance and performance of our new oven. Now she can't wait to have a reason to bake something for a little get together with family

there is a problem

Three weeks after installation, the oven lights won't turn off and the electronics think the oven door is open, and so we cannot cook. The dealer was very responsive, repair people have been in contact and parts are on order. It is disappointing, but we are hoping this is just a fluke. It doesn't seem appropriate to rate the ovens just now.

Truly shocking customer service

I purchased my Cafe double wall oven months ago, and have yet to be able to connect it to wifi to access any of these features. This is despite my tireless efforts, and being reasonably capable with these things (as I am an executive with a technology company).
I have called tech support no fewer than 10 times and each and every time I call they assure me someone from the tech support team will get back to me via email and this never happens. They just ignore me as a customer. It is truly shocking.
If GE/Cafe is going to venture into wifi enabled devices, they simply must develop equipment that is useable and customer service that is capable. They have done neither of these things.
As an oven, it is handsome and works well (without wifi). But I cannot warn you strongly enough to stay away from this if you expect to have the wifi functionality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful and sleek design

Just have had my new Cafe wall double oven for couple of weeks now. Haven’t had a lot of use yet. But that will change. The install and set up were relatively easy. Tons of features available. But I am particularly happy with the sleek design of the oven. It has a minimalistic appearance without a bunch of protruding knobs. Heats fast. I am still familiarizing myself with the phone app connected to the oven and will see how beneficial the app becomes. Happy with purchase.
