We wanted a glass cook top without knobs. Love the style and convenience of the smooth cook top and controls on this Cafe model. Beautiful addition to our kitchen!

Love this cooktop! Easy to use, easy to clean and heats quickly. The five burners are nicely spaced so can easily use all without a problem. The controls are flat and blend in but can be seen to adjust on and off and temp. The two burners for using the griddle lock in at the same temp, nice feature.

Precision cooking

I have always preferred cooking on a gas stovetop but that option isn't available to me, so I replaced an older traditional electric coil cooktop which effectively had two settings: hot and hotter. I LOVE the precision my Cafe cooktop provides, from barely warm to almost instant very hot. I honestly think it's better than I can get with a gas stove. An unexpected bonus was the advantage of having a smooth cooktop in a small kitchen with limited counterspace. That is, when I'm not using my cooktop I can lock it so it's not turned on inadvertently, and then with a quilted mat over the top it becomes additional countertop.
