Good looking

I love the look of the cooktop, but there is a learning curve when first using it. As one reviewer said it beeps if you get close to a control, it shows fingerprints easily, I've not quite figured out how to adjust the heat on the multi burners and I have to clean it after every use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the cooktop looks sleek and modern. the touch controls are great and they do NOT get activated when my cat starts walking over. Heats up fast and cleans easy.

Range heating elements are too small for my larger sauté pans. Older model had larger elements. Disappointed.

I've only had this a few days but have cooked every meal on it since the day it was installed! I love the middle 5th burner that can adjust to 3 sizes. Quick to boil water!! The smooth surface is so easy to clean and the touch control pads are modern looking. Knobs Super easy to use and it has been a breeze to adjust to how it cooks. I love the lock feature. I had this similar GE model back when it first came out in the early 2000s in another house. We've moved and hubs said I could renovate the kitchen. I knew exactly what I wanted! This model in the GE Cafe is even better!

Solid cooktop

Love this cooktop. The switch to electric from gas has been great - no harmful gases and better indoor quality. But the heat time is so much faster. This cooktop is efficient, slim profile, and looks great. We love it.

Beautiful to look at

I really admire the look of my counter stove top. It is sleek and impressive. It does have a small drawback I can live with. It requires special cleaning after each use. Even boiling water will require more then soap and water. I have to use a cream to keep it shiny. Soap and water will not give it the shine my previous countertop stove did. Nonetheless, that does not take away from the quality of the appliance. It heats quickly and the timer is very helpful.
