Easy to use

Overall very satisfied with the oven. The only thing I wasn’t completely happy with is the quality of the racks. They seem hard to pull out and put back in.

Oven Upgrade

My last GE Profile oven had been having timer problems for a couple of years. I finally bit the bullet and decided to purchase a new oven. WOW was I surprised with the new improvments and appearance. This oven not only looks great; it cooks great.

Nice oven. Lots of nice features. Big improvement of clock that can actually be seen as opposed to previous models that had a person practically on his knees to read the clock and settings. So it is very good, except giving one star discount because it is very slow to preheat. When we heat the oven to 500 for home made pizza, it takes nearly 40 minutes. It was explained by a GE Tech that the reason for that is the lower heating unit is below the bottom of the oven for easier cleaning. Not sure if it is worth it for the long wait. But other than that, we are very happy with the appliance.

Snazzy, dazzling!

After 21 years with my plain white GE oven, I stepped up to this dazzling piece of work! It bakes more evenly and hotter than my previous GE, and looks a lot more impressive with the sleek stainless steel and dancing digital screen. OK, it doesn't dance, but it's pretty cool. I wish there was a tutorial on how and why to use the convection feature, and so far, I haven't been able to figure how how to connect it to my phone. That's the reason for the star subtraction. Also - I'm very short, and wasn't prepared for reaching across the giant oven door to slide thiings in and out. I'm having to stand to one side. Overall, though, I'm quite happy with it!

Looks nice but I was oversold on the features

It is a great oven but the features that I was sold on (like Airfry and the built in recipes) are no better than the previous version that cost less. The electronic display looks great but I was expecting some content behind the "recipes" tab.

Poor User Interface

We replaced an old GE Profile oven with this one foolishly thinking it would be an improvement. While the new LCD display looks nice, it’s poorly programmed. E.g., when you set the timer, the display reverts back to the extra large clock and the timer font is off to the lower right about 1/10 the size of the clock! The result? You can see how much time remains from across the kitchen. How stupid! Similar problem when you set delay cook time. Our old oven displayed the current time and the bake temp in the same large font. GE could do this too if they used their screen’s LCD landscape. And finally, while the oven signal has a loudness adjustment, the loudest setting is much lower than before. The result, we can’t hear the signal when we’re upstairs in our office. Just poor stupid ergonomics! The oven takes longer to preheat and seems to run cooler, but we haven’t tried to adjust it yet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The features on this gorgeous oven allowed me to get rid of extra appliances I no longer need. Smart wifi features are also great!
