Super easy to use features and large control panel

Wow! The control panel is so easy to see and use. It is beautiful, really. Super user friendly. The fonts are extra large I don't need my reading glasses to set it up. The clock when oven is not in use has super large fonts. This is a dream for anyone to use. The convection feature is wonderful. The roller slide out rack, is extra sturdy. I have it set at near the bottom level, handles my extra large capacity and heavy cast iron Dutch oven like a breeze. Old whirlpool oven had regular racks. It was always a challange to pull the rack out when using said dutch oven! This oven replaces said oven after 2.5 years of use. Highly recommend the GE Profile Convection oven for everyone, especially a senior citizen!

Racks too wide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just had this slide in oven installed, and the racks are too tight for the space. When sliding the racks in and out, it is scratching both sides of the oven. Adding some vegetable oil to the rack supports doesn’t help.

Rack scratches the oven walls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only complaint is the positionable rack is too tight, scratched the walls of the oven and the graphite liquid doesn't help. Not just scratches, it removes the coating and particles were found on the oven floor. The scratching was noted by several other reviews; I had hopes that it would have been corrected by now.....NOT! Just know if you purchase this oven the walls will be scratched when they are put in for the first time by the installer and every time you choose to move it thereafter.

Rub the vegetable oil onto the left and right edge of the racks, ensuring they are lightly coated. Absolutle piece of junk!!!!!

Has been shreaking an error code and shutting down and restarting at least 12 times a day. Have resorted to shutting it off in my breaker box at night so it doesn't wake 6 month old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great oven, terrible software.

The oven does a great job cooking, but the software is terrible. The best thing to do is turn off anything related to internet connectivity, weather and updates. We bought this new in October - an update in December caused the oven to reboot (black screen - check for updates) daily, even while in use. Weeks after opening a support case, another update fixed that issue. But something as simple as weather updates fail - the weather will stay stuck on a single temperature for days. Luckily all this can be turned off, but it is disappointing when a feature doesn't work. Recommendation to GE - if you are not going to commit to 99% uptime and cloud connectivity for 20 years - don't sell the feature.

We love our Smart Oven and the WiFi features. We were especially delighted when, after installing the turkey update, our oven timer “gobbled” when time was up. However, we won’t be able to use the Precision Cooking feature for our holiday turkey since our installers did not provide us with the temperature probe. (Our home is a new construction, so we weren’t present for installation.) How can we rectify this situation? Thank you.
