Nice features, very spacious. It has a separate temperature control for produce, fruits or meat.

I bought the cafe and it is not working and I have to wait 6 days for someone to come. When you pay this much for a refrigerator it should be working and stay cold. People at GE customer service were not helpful or friendly.

Ice maker spills ice all over the inside of the freezer. Temperature control is totally uneven in the refrigerator often resulting in food items freezing.
Look elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was originally worried this wouldn't be deep enough to hold everyday items but it has turned out great! Only thing I don't like is the finish leaves really made finger/hand prints from my kids.

We recently purchased our home that had an amazing kitchen however the built-in refrigerator needed to be replaced. We fell in love with the sleek and clean look of the GE Café line and decided on a whim to purchase this refrigerator. We had it installed about 6 months ago and we could not be happier. The freezer freezes so well and the refrigerations is consistent and impressive. I love to cook and I’m shocked at how easy it is to store things such as a full cookie sheet for chilling items and large Dutch ovens without having to move shelving. We have 2 kids so we didn’t want a water dispenser nor ice dispenser on the front of the fridge since in our previous home the kids kept making a mess. It has worked out so well to have the ice machine neatly inside the freezer. It makes ice quickly and holds a lot. When we entertain we put the ice in an ice bucket which helps keep people out of the kitchen and offers a classy style while hosting. Thank you so much GE, our guests have ranted and raved about the look of the fridge but I have to say I love how well it performs. The compressor is small and doesn’t make noise, it doesn’t collect dust like our previous built-in fridge did, the water filter is easy to replace oh and I forgot to mention, I love how easy it is to lift the top compartment to check the compressor and change the water filter. It’s so nice that it easily lifts up so we can check on things.
