Met expectations

So far the refrigerator was just what we needed since our old one was taken out by a storm. We ordered the new one and it arrived ahead of schedule. We were concern since so many people have horror stories about getting and having their new units work. Luckily ours is working so far since it has only been a few weeks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compre esta nevera alrededor de 10K y nunca funciono apropiadamente comenzó a dar problemas desde el comienzo llevo 1 año con ella y se ha dañado mas de 10 veces en 1 año. Increible!! Los tecnicos no encuentran la falla le ponen dif piezas y en par de semanas vuelve a dañarse. Lo ultimo q me dijeron fue que la nevera tenia un defecto q le entraba aire pero ellos no consiguen por donde entra el aire y al entrar el aire el abanico deja de funcionar. No la recomiendo no boten su dinero!!!.

Great product.

The interior of the 48” cafe seems much larger than my old 48” Monogram. The interior lighting is nice and bright. The stainless steel exterior is sleek and seems to brighten up my kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love all the storage in our new GE Cafe! The freezer section is bigger than our last 48" and also more storage in the fridge area.

Nice looking fridge but the ice maker is bad

We have had a similar fridge by other brands and the ice make was great with a drawer. This fridge’s ice maker is made for a door dispenser and when you do not get the door dispenser you get the same ice maker that is not easily accessible. The tray is small and the flip up lid is not meant for easy access. The front even says ice service which shows it’s clearly not meant for this application.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Workhorse, but basic

This is a good but basic appliance -Just a lot of cold storage. Ice maker makes a lot of ice, but the gap at the back means I am constantly dropping ice into the freezer. Plus, it is mounted pretty high up so if you are short, it will be hard to use. Motor is louder than my old Sub-Zero, but for the price difference, I Elul do expect that.

First one came with the purchase of our new house. Fresh side kept freezing up, despite several visits from GE service. After replacing dampers and other components we were told it must be the main computer board which at the time had a 10 - 16 week lead-time. After several phone calls, GE replaced the refrigerator. Ice maker performance is very poor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
