GE tech couldn't figure out the problem.

GE Tech support could not figure out the problem and I was told need to get a new unit. It was working fine but twic when it wasn't cooling had to reset it one of the tech order a motherboard to be safe 2nd tech came to install it and left and never checked if its working all the food went bad and since than they couldn't figure out what to do except to tell me to get a new unit..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks beautiful, but it stopped working after 1 year. No cooling, no freezing, no good. Poor ice box design, ice cubes would fly all over the freezer compartment (when it used to work). It came with the wrong label and I couldn’t connect it to the app. Useless.

Ice maker is designed to make it easy to accidentally push cubes out the back, spilling into the freezer and/or onto the floor. A problem when you have wood floors. Also the door groans on the hinges when oped/closed. No lubricant including silicon stops it. Top shelf on door is so close to top of door it’s useless.
