It's a little loud

This fridge looks great. It seems to run all the time and is much louder than I would expect for a brand new energy star appliance. It certainly cools well and makes ice well. All the equipment is on top, which makes for a much roomier interior, which is very nice, compared to my old fridge. Overall, I'm pleased with it, and glad I went with the Cafe line.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible, terrible ice maker.

I cannot believe you would ever sell a product that is so outrageously defective. ICE IS EVERYWHERE! How many people need to complain before you come up with a permanent resolution? And don't refer to stupid videos that have nothing to do with this model. Is there a recall? A fix?
PEOPLE, do not buy. You will hate it. Read all the reviews about hating the ice maker. You would swear this is the first appliance they ever made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my Cafe

Doesn't work

Bought this fridge in November. Covid delays etc... Now we have it and it doesn't work. Parts are months out, this is unbelievable.

Beautiful fridge. Horrible overall appliance.

The Fridge is beautiful and looks great but is of incredibly poor quality. We bought this fridge a year ago, and have had multiple issues. First there was condensation building up and running onto the floor. They replaced the seals and that issue improved. Then the ice maker wouldn't shut off and filled the freezer full of ice. They replaced the ice maker and now the ice maker is making a loud buzzing noise and not making ice. Stay away from GE appliances at all cost.

If the ice maker is buzzing and not making ice, it is likely that it is not getting water. Please check that the water from the house has been turned on to the refrigerator. If so, check that the reservoir has not frozen by pulling out the vegetable drawers and feeling the back wall. If this is ice cold, turn the temperature up on the fresh food section slightly. Maybe there are attachments that I don't know about but the ice inside is a lot of work. We cannot reach the door opening to get it out so we must take out the ice box and dump the ice into coffee cans.
