Extremely disappointing

Looks beautiful, but it stopped working after 1 year. No cooling, no freezing, no good. Poor ice box design, ice cubes would fly all over the freezer compartment (when it used to work). It came with the wrong label and I couldn’t connect it to the app. Useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not worth it. Save your money

Horrible for the high price tag. We purchased several all new café appliances for our new home and this refrigerator has by far been the worst. It is loud and the icemaker spills everywhere. After owning it a year and a half it stopped cooling. After several phone calls to GE they finally sent a maintenance man and they replaced two parts (fan and condenser unit). Not a month later and it’s making this horrible grinding sound and not cooling again. For the price I paid for this it should be better quality. Now I will have to wait on hold for hours to talk to a GE to try to get it fixed yet again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't buy these GE Cafe appliances

ive had this refrigerator for 4 months and ive already had to have service and parts replaced. I myself would not have even gotten this refrigerator but we bought a home that had a built in cabinet that was made to fit only this refrigerator. It doesn't hold enough either in my opinion and does not have a water dispenser, which is a must in san diego. I do not recommend any ge cafe appliances,,, i have a oven too, and microwave and the stove already had a major problem,,

great value for a professional fridge

Only issue I have is the ice machine dumps ice in to the freezer. Not user friendly adn wish I would have gotten it without an ice maker

Nice size and very useable

We bought this refer because it was a side by side with no indoor ice or water creating a very clean look. The only thing that we wish was different was the ice maker in freezer. It makes small ice cubes and larger ones would be preferred

Cafe 48" Side-by-Side

The Cafe 48" Side-by-side meets my expectation. My previous side-by-side was a Sub Zero. The Cafe installed prefect into my space. If you are looking to replace a Sub Zero, I would recommend the Cafe.

It's a little loud

This fridge looks great. It seems to run all the time and is much louder than I would expect for a brand new energy star appliance. It certainly cools well and makes ice well. All the equipment is on top, which makes for a much roomier interior, which is very nice, compared to my old fridge. Overall, I'm pleased with it, and glad I went with the Cafe line.
I would recommend this to a friend!
